Highbar.
Highbar is a physical therapy company from Rhode Island that aims to give people the tools to heal themselves.
Using footage shot by Cody Ball and working with Rugged Agency, Highbar wanted to cut videos that told stories of their patient’s success stories (and there were many of them). The idea was to show that Highbar is a hands-on, active approach to physical therapy—the goal is to not have to see the patient after a few months because the patient has all the tools they need. Highbar is dynamic, bold, and are a breath of fresh air in the physical therapy space so their advertisements needed to feel the same.
All editing, coloring, and sound design is done by me.
What moves you?
Everyone has their own unique story with injury and pain and moments when moving was difficult and felt bad—we wanted to tell the story of success and getting out movement back. Every person has a reason to move, no matter who they are or how it looks for them. The goal for this video was to show different people all living their own experiences, pain-free and with the ability to do what they love. Because that’s what Highbar physical can help give back.
Aleia, the supermom.
One of the patient stories we wanted to highlight was Aleia. She dealt with a lot of pain after her pregnancy and wasn’t sure if it was normal. She wanted her life back, and Highbar helped her to do just that. The intention was to show her kindness and her vibrancy and show her family dynamic. Everyone was so great and I feel this came through in the edit.
